1. Purpose & Acknowledgment
By placing an order with Atlas Labs, the Customer acknowledges and agrees that all products purchased are strictly for research-use-only (RUO) and are not intended for human or veterinary consumption, medical treatments, or diagnostic purposes.
- The Customer understands that:
- Research chemicals may be hazardous if used incorrectly.
- Atlas Labs provides products strictly for laboratory, analytical, or scientific research.
- Atlas Labs does not provide instructions or recommendations for use beyond their stated research purpose.
2. Risks & Responsibilities
- The Customer accepts full responsibility for:
- Proper handling, storage, and disposal of all products per safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Atlas Labs provides prComplying with all local, state, and federal laws governing possession, use, and shipping of research chemicals.oducts strictly for laboratory, analytical, or scientific research.
- Understanding that exposure, contamination, or misuse may carry unknown health risks.
- The Customer waives any claims against Atlas Labs for:
- Toxicity, contamination, or any accidental exposure.
- Adverse effects, injuries, or losses that result from improper usage or unauthorized application.
- Claims arising from transfer, resale, or misuse by any third party.
3. No Medical or Therapeutic Claims
- Atlas Labs expressly does not market, promote, or endorse its products for:
- Human or animal consumption.
- Medical, therapeutic, diagnostic, or pharmaceutical use.
- Incorporation into dietary supplements, drugs, or recreational substances.
- The Customer agrees not to use or promote Atlas Labs products in any way inconsistent with these terms.
4. Assumption of Risk & Indemnification
The Customer agrees to assume all risks associated with the purchase, handling, storage, and disposal of products.
The Customer shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Atlas Labs and its employees, agents, and affiliates from any liabilities, damages, claims, or legal actions arising from misuse of products or failure to comply with this policy.
5. Order Acceptance & Restrictions
- Atlas Labs reserves the right to:
- Cancel or refuse any order if it deems the order or customer outside its policy or vulnerable to risk.
- Require additional documentation to verify legal compliance or intended use.
- Decline sales to individuals, entities, or jurisdictions where research chemical possession or usage is restricted or prohibited.
- By ordering, the Customer certifies that they are of legal age in their jurisdiction and legally permitted to purchase, possess, and use research chemicals for RUO purposes.
6. No Warranties & Limitation of Liability
- All products are sold “as-is” without any warranties—express or implied—regarding:
- Purity, potency, or fitness for particular use.
- Shelf-life, suitability to user’s experimental conditions, or safety beyond their labeled RUO scope.
- Atlas Labs shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages arising out of or related to the use, handling, or storage of products, including but not limited to incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state in which Atlas Labs is incorporated (or your base state).
Any dispute arising under this policy shall be resolved through binding arbitration in that state. The Customer agrees to waive any right to a jury trial or class action.
8. Customer Acknowledgment & Agreement
- By completing the purchase, the Customer confirms that they:
- Have read and fully understand this Informed Consent Policy.
- Agree to abide by all its terms and conditions.
- Assume full legal, health, and financial responsibility for their purchase.
